Bag Boy Named The Official
Pull Cart of the Canadian Tour
TORONTO -- The Canadian Professional Golf Tour is pleased
to announce that Bag Boy has been designated as the Official Pull Cart of
the Canadian Tour. As such, Bag Boy will be the exclusive pull cart
on-site at the Canadian Tour's five events in Myrtle Beach, S.C.,
beginning in February.
The Bag Boy Company was started in 1946 in Portland, Oregon. It began
manufacturing incredibly durable die-cast aluminum carts that allowed
golfers to easily pull their clubs and bag behind them while walking
during a round of golf.
Within a few years, the name Bag Boy and the word "pull cart" became
synonymous in North America. In fact, over the next 50 years, Bag Boy
became one of the most respected brands in golf by building a reputation
for unmatched quality and unbelievable durability. More information on the
complete line of Bag Boy products can be found at www.bagboycompany.com.
The Canadian Tour is an associate member of the International Federation
of PGA Tours and all its official-money tournaments are included in the
Official World Golf Ranking.
The Canadian Tour stages tournaments from January through September in
North America (Canada and the United States) and Central America (Republic
of Panama).
More than 100 graduates of the Canadian Tour have gone on to the U.S. PGA
Tour, the European PGA Tour and the Japanese PGA Tour. A total of 23 grads
have won a combined 41 U.S. PGA Tour events, including Steve Stricker and
Canadian Mike Weir, the past two winners of World Golf Championship
events.
